Derek, primarily a pitcher this summer for us, is one of our younger guys that will be called upon to make a high impact on our team. Going into his Junior year at Brother Rice, I had the privilege of coaching Derek in the fall and had a hard time believing how much his ball moves. A crafty lefty, Kilmer will rely on his movement to get a lot of people out. Derek will only get better as he works to improve on his mechanics.
