Anthony, a Michigan Bulls Alumnus, played 6 years under Frank Gallagher from 1994-2000, the 2nd longest tenure Michigan Bull. After posting All-American type numbers at Catholic Central in 1999 and a State Title, Anthony, a 20th round draft selection by the Cleveland Indians in 2000 decided to play 4 years at
Eastern Michigan
under Roger Coryell. Drafted again in 2003 by the Detroit Tigers, Anthony quickly made himself a Mid-west League All-Star by 2005 with the Western Michigan Whitecaps and would later be moved up to Erie Seawolves. His 2007 season was split in time with
Erie
and eventually the Tigers AAA affiliate Toledo Mud-Hens.
